ATM (Grupo Praxair) is a young consultancy and engineering company founded in 1996 as spin-off of CEIT (Spain). Ongoing R&D projects promote ATM’s wide technological offer. This embraces the basic design of biological processes (AS, MBR, MBBR, AD, ATAD), turn-key engineering projects and operation and supervision of industrial wastewater plants services. The trend is to use the latest technology at all design and execution phases. All these fields are supported by mathematical modeling and simulation techniques. The Gipuzkoa Provincial Council, through the Managing Director of Water Resources, has been heavily investing since early 80s in water-related activities. SISLtech is a technological company founded in 2003. Since then is conducting studies and providing support on: integrated management of wastewater treatment infrastructures; energy optimization of waste and wastewater treatment infrastructure; nutrient removal; reduction of waste production and optimization of waste and wastewater treatment.

SISLtech also has a wide experience in the development and implementation of Decision Support Systems (DSS) for supervision, control, management and optimization of wastewater treatment infrastructures, as well as for the integrated and centralized river basin management.
